To fulfill her dying father's last wish, young American Carroll Buchheim travels to Munich in search of her brother, who has disappeared without a trace. Her research leads her deep into the nefarious fashion world, where she meets the cynical photographer Raoul Malsen, who harasses his entourage with great passion.
