Synopsis:
This december will bear the mark of H.P. Lovecraft, as we'll be releasing another film inspired by Lovecraft as part of our „Collector's Series“.

THE CURSE is based on H.P. Lovecrafts THE COLOUR OUT OF SPACE, and was produced (well, at least on paper) by the „Maestro of Gore“, Lucio Fulci. Truth be told: THE CURSE is not a splatterfilm, but it's a nice littke 80's horror movie, with a lot of practical and rather slimy effects, that – up until 2014 – had a place on Germany's infamous „Index“, which means that it was pretty much a video nasty.

Our edition is the film's first release on HD in Europe.

Nathan Crane is a religious man trying to hold onto his farm and keep his family in line. A real estate developer is trying to buy most of the farm property in the area, including Mr. Crane's family farm, in the hope that the Tennesse Valley Authority will choose the town for the site of a new dam and recreational area. The night of a terrible storm, an unidentified, glowing object crashes on the Crane farm and with it comes a horrible curse for the Crane family and the members of the community.
