Synopsis: Things are not going well for Dr Paul Talbot (Phillip Terry). His relationship with his alcoholic wife June (Coleen Gray) is more than strained and his scientific research is stagnating. Then an incredibly old woman appears in his practice, who needs money for her last journey to her African homeland and sells him a remedy that can actually rejuvenate a person. He travels after this woman with June to find out more about it. June has no idea that she is supposed to serve as his guinea pig.
This film, made by Universal Studios on a low budget, offers classic exploitation material: a scientist who soon throws all moral scruples overboard, a leading actress with a hint of eroticism, exotic locations and good old handmade make-up effects. A charming little film from the heyday of black-and-white low-budget genre films.
