When a group of travellers reach an uncharted island, they discover that all traces of its inhabitants have been wiped out. All that seems to have remained of the village is a completely distraught blind woman who is mute. Julie (Tisa Farrow) believes that something unspeakably evil has taken possession of the island. One by one, the first members of the group disappear, all of them having met the man-eater (George Eastman). Once shipwrecked, Nikos, a Greek, survived by eating his family, and driven mad by this traumatic experience, he has been on the hunt ever since.
