Former NASA scientist Dr. DeMarco (John Carradine) is hired by a secret government unit to develop a deadly weapon. DeMarco, who is supported by his unscrupulous assistant Franchot, begins with cruel experiments. cruel experiments. He uses the corpses of criminals and scientists to transform them into sinister zombie robots, which he calls “astro-zombies”. Meanwhile, a team of government agents and scientists, including the experienced Professor Holman, become aware of DeMarco's murderous machinations.
