Brutal murders shake New York City. A psychopathic serial killer is targeting strippers, stalking them after their late-night shows. At the center of the events are Matt Rossi (Tom Berenger) and Nicky Parzeno (Jack Scalia), who supply dancers to seedy clubs. When several of their girls are murdered, they come under increasing pressure – from terrified clients, from the police, and not least from their own fear. While Detective Al Wheeler (Billy Dee Williams) tries to uncover the pattern behind the killings, it becomes clear that the killer operates methodically and carefully selects his victims. For Matt, the nightmare becomes deeply personal. The former boxer is haunted by his past: a fatal accident in the ring that still weighs heavily on him.
