Synopsis: Mexico, late 1980s: Amid the dusty ruins of a forgotten Mayan pyramid, scholar Salomon Slivak uncovers a horrifying secret. Unknowingly, he unleashes the spirit of Xibalba, a cruel deity once appeased through human sacrifice. Shortly after, Slivak is found murdered under mysterious circumstances. His daughter Lisa travels to the remote village to uncover the truth behind her father’s fate.
