Lisa, a young girl from New York, and her boyfriend Martin want to renovate an old hotel in a small American town. They have high hopes for the future and want to build a life for themselves. Lisa has inherited the house, but soon a terrible accident occurs in which a workman dies. Another disappears without a trace during the renovation. When Lisa finally receives a visit from blind Emily, who warns her of impending doom, a dark curse is revealed. Despite all the warnings, Lisa ignores them, unaware of the secret behind the gruesome events. The hotel stands in a magical place, on one of the seven gates of horror. Soon, the dead rise!
