The bestial murder of Frankfurt's noble whore Vera Paterny throws the entire metropolis into turmoil. In order to solve the case quickly, Inspector Reinisch is asked to take over the investigation, but the further he penetrates the quagmire of the underworld, the tighter a web of perversities, wild orgies and prominent names is spun around him.
