In a small western town, Doc Carter is faced with a mystery when suddenly healthy young people start dying from a strange illness. His daughter Dolores has her own problems with her farm, which her unscrupulous neighbor Buffer has his eye on. Although her fiancé, the preacher Dan, urges her to be cautious, Dolores feels compelled to hire a gunslinger to represent her interests. She finds him in the mysterious gunslinger Drake Robey, who quickly captivates the young woman. Dan wants to find out more about Robey, learns of a terrible secret, and can only trust in God to free Dolores and the entire town from the personified evil that is Robey.
THE CURSE OF DRAGO ROBLES is an innovative film that cleverly mixes Western themes with classic horror. Michael Pate is convincing as the charismatic and sinister sharpshooter, as is Kathleen Crowley as the emancipated farm owner under the influence of a monster.
