Goke the Vampire (Phantastische Filmklassiker Nr. 29) [Mediabook, Cover B]

On board an aircraft, a bomb threat is received and a bloody incident involving a flock of birds occurs. An encounter with an unknown flying object then takes place, after which the aircraft has to make an emergency landing in a remote area. The survivors are soon confronted with a new threat.

An alien parasite is inside the UFO, which takes possession of an assassin on board through a crack in its forehead, and the assassin now craves the blood of the others. Only the cooperation of all the survivors could mean salvation, but although the rational co-pilot tries everything, the selfishness and unscrupulousness of individuals leads rather to a path to ruin.

Director Hajime Satô paints a pessimistic picture of humanity in his successful science fiction film, supported by horror moments, and presents no less than the last hours of humanity, whose time seems to have run out after wars and violence.
