In an old mansion with a sinister past, snobbish millionaire Frederick Loren throws a party with a difference: whoever survives a night in the building will receive $10,000. His hand-picked guests include a former test pilot in financial straits, a journalist looking for a spectacular story, a psychiatrist interested in the behavior of the participants, and a curious girl.

It doesn't take long before the colorful group is torn apart by hatred, jealousy, all kinds of ghostly apparitions, and even murder. With a generous helping of horror, the night turns into a life-threatening ordeal for the party guests.

With HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, legendary director William Castle created a classic horror film starring Vincent Price, in which a skeleton suddenly appeared and hovered over the frightened audience during the American premiere. The film also served as the basis for William Malone's remake of the same name from 1999.
