A helicopter expedition to Antarctica ends in an emergency landing after a collision with an unknown creature. But instead of an icy wasteland, the researchers discover a tropical jungle. This place is teeming with prehistoric monsters, including a fully grown Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Alongside the dinosaurs, the helicopter crew also encounters a scientist who has been missing for ten years. His long time in the jungle has turned him into a mentally unstable hermit, whose behavior leads to further unpredictable problems. Can the group escape this dangerous world?

With FLIGHT TO HELL, Universal created another classic monster movie that proved to be a technical challenge. For the first time, the studio’s special effects department created elaborate animatronic monsters to terrify cinema audiences.
