An isolated, abandoned monastery. An ancient curse. And the dead rising from their graves after nightfall.
While traveling through the remote Portuguese countryside, young Virginia abruptly jumps off a moving train following an argument with her friends Betty and Roger. Searching for shelter for the night, she stumbles upon the ruins of Berzano – a deserted place shrouded in an eerie silence.
But she has no idea what horrors await her within its crumbling walls.
Centuries ago, an order of Knights Templar ruled this place, practicing dark and gruesome rituals. Condemned and executed for their crimes, the knights were nevertheless denied eternal rest. Clad in their decaying robes and mounted on skeletal horses, the undead Templars rise from their graves at night to hunt anyone who dares enter their cursed domain.
When Virginia is found dead the following morning, Betty and Roger set out to uncover what really happened. Their investigation takes them deeper and deeper into Berzano's sinister past – and ultimately back to the abandoned monastery, where the legend of the undead Templars becomes a terrifying reality.
Blind and dead for centuries, these riders have no need for eyes to track down their victims. They can hear them!
As darkness falls, their hunt begins once again – slow, relentless, and almost silent. And for anyone who hears the galloping of their horses in the darkness, it may already be too late to escape...
