By a curious twist of fate, photojournalist Emanuelle stumbles upon an international ring of human traffickers dealing in young women. Going undercover, she repeatedly puts her life at risk as she poses as a ruthless prostitute in an attempt to expose the organisation’s dark dealings. Her investigation takes her from Kenya to New York and finally to San Diego, where she encounters the mysterious Madame Claude and discovers that the traffickers will stop at absolutely nothing.
Director Joe D’Amato brought his Black Emanuelle series to a close with this 1978 film, once again skilfully combining exotic locations and eroticism with an uncompromising look into the sexual abysses of human existence. Also appearing for the final time is Laura Gemser in the role that made her an international star.
