Abandoned as an infant, young Sophie grows up in a Catholic reformatory. After years of inhumane harassment, she runs away and believes she has now left her sad fate behind her. But the dream of freedom rapidly turns into a merciless nightmare. Sophie meets a young man who recognizes the girl's plight and immediately exploits it for his own evil purposes. In order to pay his debts, he uses violence to force her into prostitution. Quickly, the young girl is in hot demand among suitors, which brings a much more brutal pimp on the scene, who radically appropriates the broken creature like a piece of cattle. Thanks to a coincidence, Sophie manages to escape for a short time, but her tormentors catch up with her and Sophie's cruelest martyrdom is yet to come.
