Dracula is dead! The police find Van Helsing with a stake in his hand next to his and Renfield's corpse. Nobody believes him when he says that the corpses are a vampire and his servant.
So Van Helsing is locked up and the bodies are put under lock and key. Suddenly, Dracula's body disappears under mysterious circumstances. At the same time, Countess Marya Zaleska turns up in town.
