Synopsis: While searching for her missing father, young Carol and her boyfriend Mike make a terrifying discovery. Like many before him, her father has fallen victim to a gigantic spider lurking in a vast cave system, waiting for its prey. The authorities quickly arrive, and the monster appears to be defeated when its body is put on display in the high school gym.

But the unthinkable happens: the sound of rock ’n’ roll music brings the creature back to life, triggering a desperate fight for survival that threatens not only a small American town, but possibly the entire world.

With Earth vs. the Spider, director Bert I. Gordon delivered another fan-favorite of classic genre cinema. Blending teenage horror with giant monster thrills, the film became one of the most successful releases from American International Pictures.
