Synopsis: In an Italian university town, a masked serial killer goes about his bloody business. He prefers art history students, whom he strangles with a scarf. He then dismembers them with a saw. Concerned about the declining life expectancy of the student body, Jane (Suzy Kendall, “The Secret of the Black Gloves”) and her three friends flee to a remote country villa – only to discover that they have not left the terror behind, but brought it with them.

None other than Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth are big fans of “Torso – Die Säge des Teufels” (Torso – The Devil's Saw). Cult director Sergio Martino not only directed a sleazy and bloody giallo, but also heralded the dawn of the slasher film with his 1973 work. We present “Torso” for the first time in an elaborate 4K restoration, scanned from the original camera negative and with hours of bonus material. The German audio has also been extensively restored and is available in German for the first time. The scenes that were cut at the time have been re-dubbed for this release.
