Vienna, 1965: After a series of gruesome femicides, renowned bar pianist Alexander Jablonsky stands trial. He is considered a sexually disturbed sex offender with a long criminal record.
The charges are murder of young women, including barmaids, precocious teenagers, and prostitutes. The prosecution is convinced that Jablonsky is the perverted monster they have been hunting. Each crime is meticulously examined in its brutal details, offering a glimpse into the deepest abysses of the human soul. But the results of the investigation also reveal the perverse atrocities of an entire society.
