In a mansion in Hampstead, nocturnal blood orgies and black masses take place with the participation of prominent figures from science, business, the military and politics. The puppet master pulling the strings is the industrial magnate D. D. Denham, who very soon drops his mask. It is the resurrected Count Dracula, who, in the exuberance of his lust for power, summons the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
As a modern-day Nosferatu, he wants to exterminate all of humanity with a genetically modified plague bacterium and summon Armageddon, the Last Judgment.
“Alan Gibson (DRACULA HUNTS MINIMATES) did not ineptly mix the mold of old superstition with the ingredients of modern power intoxication to create a (perhaps last) horror fight for two old stars of the genre.” – Tagesspiegel
In fact, this was the last time that Christopher Lee, as the Prince of Vampires, and Peter Cushing, as Van Helsing, faced each other, and at the same time it was the last Dracula film produced by Hammer.
